Advice on swollen gauged ear?

so yesterday i went from 2g to 0g and all day they hurt...i didn't think much of it because thats the worst stretch. they were also red and swollen but again i didnt think much of it. well this morning i decided to take them out and they were bleeding a lot. so i cleaned most of it out, got a shower and cleaned more out. i ran a couple q-tips through each ear with some alcohol on it to clean more. i put my 2s back in so that they would not close up to much. They are still swollen and red and i was wondering how long its going to be until they go down in size and if there is anything i can do to help it heal faster?
