How does the Orion Nebula impact our lives?

I'm doing a research project on an astronomer and they discovered the Orion Nebula, I looked for days trying to figure out how the Orion Nebula impacts our lives, like what difference does it make in our lives, how it solved problems, or made an improvement in peoples lives, can you help me? thanks so much!
