Dog scratched my thigh?

I went to my friend's house and his dog scratched my thigh. the cut was not that bad, but it was swelling red a bit, but after 8 hours after the cut, a small area around the cut is starting to turn blue/black. I am going to see a doctor tomorrow, should I be really worried about this?
