I have 2 orion hcca 10.2 subs that i think i may have blown?

i have 2 orion subs rated at 1500 watt rms, each one of them were hooked up to Hifonics Brutus 2100 watt rms amps. i was tunning them in and they stopped working one at a time, the first one just wouldnt do anything at all and the amp stayed running normal, then my second sub stopped working, but the amp kept signaling protection mode. i disconected the subs from the amps and tested each amp . they worked. when i move one of the subs i can feel a spot draging in travel im thinking that one is blown, in that sub i have infinate resiestance when i hook up an ohm-meter. on my other sub that causes the protection to come on in my amp i have a restance of .7 ohm per 2 ohm voice coil... im lost any help. are they blown?
