Why does my piercing still hurt :S?

I got my rook pierced on Saturday (the 25th) and it still hurts really bad :( . Is it supposed to be like that or is it infected or something? because every other piercing Ive gotten stopped hurting a lot after a day and this one hurts a lot. Its doesn't appear to be swollen or red and Ive been cleaning it every day :/
